Apply to Perform in the First Annual International One-Liner Festival (IOLF 2018)
Information for Comedians applying to perform in IOLF 2018:
1. The Festival is scheduled for two nights, Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9, 2018. The Festival will be located in the main showroom at Third Coast Comedy Club in Nashville (www.thirdcoastcomedy.club). Both shows start at 7:00 PM Central Time and run for approximately 90 minutes.
2. The Saturday show will be open content (no restrictions on material). The Sunday show will be a "clean" show, limited to "TV clean" material. Both shows will be promoted accordingly, with the Sunday show promoted as "family friendly", so please respect these boundaries if accepted for the Sunday show.
3. Each show will include an invited headliner and sets of varying length by performers chosen from Festival submissions (12 minute Feature sets, 8 minute sets and 5 minute sets).
4. All non-invited performers will be selected by the Festival Judges Panel based on submitted videos. The decisions of the Festival Judges Panel are final.
5. VIDEO SUBMISSION RULES:
- Paste the link to your publicly-accessible video in the space provided in the submission form.
- Please submit video of yourself doing one-liners and ONLY one-liners. You can only do one-liners during the Festival. Show us what you got.
- Videos should either be 1) three minutes in length, 2) edited to move the strongest three minutes to the beginning for the video, OR 3) flagged with the time point you want us to review (Contact one of the Producers by email to clearly identify the point in your video where your one-liner material begins - contact info below).
- We do not guarantee that the Festival Judges Panel will look at more than three minutes of a lengthy submission video.
6. SUBMISSION FEE:
- There is a $15 fee to submit a video for consideration by the Festival Judges Panel.
- Submit your $15 entry fee by PayPal to [email protected].
- Sorry, no refunds.
7. DEADLINE AND ANNOUNCEMENT DATE:
- All submissions are due no later than 5:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
- The lineup for IOLF 2018 will be announced on Sunday, November 4, 2018.
